What is maymunah bint al harith?

Maymunah bint al-Harith was one of the wives of the Prophet Muhammad. She was previously married twice, but both of her husbands had passed away. She was known for her beauty and her generosity.

Maymunah became the wife of the Prophet Muhammad in the year 7 AH (after Hijrah) when she was in her late thirties or early forties. Their marriage took place during the Prophet's return from the treaty of Hudaibiyah.

Maymunah was also known for her acts of kindness and charity. She used to feed the poor and the needy and helped in the distribution of charity among the people. She was also a devout Muslim, and she used to pray and fast regularly.

Maymunah had a son from her previous marriage who was also a Muslim. She passed away in the year 51 AH, approximately 15 years after the death of Prophet Muhammad.
